3208 EnginesDescription of Change: A new head gasket is used on all 3208 Engines. The new head gasket has a smaller diameter fire ring bore than the former head gasket. This new head gasket was previously used only on naturally aspirated 3208 Engines. It is now used on all 3208 Engines.Adaptable To: The new 7C1599 Head Gasket is used on all 3208 Engines. It replaces the former 7W2059 Head Gasket. The new 7C1599 Head Gasket must be used on all emission controlled naturally aspirated 3208 Engines effective with the 1986 model year. The new 7C1599 Head Gasket must be used on all emission controlled turbocharged 3208 Engines effective with the 1988 model year. The 7W2059 Head Gasket is used on all 3100 and 3208 Remanufactured Engines and field sleeved engines.
