TURBO GP-BASIC 20R2982 - Caterpillar

1. Loosen two clamps (1) and two clamps (2). Slide both hoses on the elbows toward the turbocharger. 2. Fasten a hoist to air cleaner assembly (3) as shown. Remove the four bolts that hold the air cleaner assembly to the intake elbow. Remove the air cleaner assembly and pipe assembly as a unit. The weight of the unit is 32 kg (70 lb.). Remove the gasket from the intake elbow.3. If a replacement of the element in the air cleaner is necessary, see the Lubrication and Maintenance Guide.Install Air Cleaner Assembly (3306)
1. Put a new gasket in position on the intake elbow. 2. Fasten a hoist to air cleaner assembly and the pipe assembly. Put the unit (1) in position on the intake elbow. Install the four bolts that hold it. 3. Slide hose assembly (2) in position. Install the two clamps that hold it.4. Slide hose assembly (3) in position.
