Keep engine speed low until the engine oil pressure registers on the gauge or the engine oil light goes out. If it does not register or the light go out within ten seconds, stop the engine and investigate the cause before starting again. Failure to do so, can cause engine damage.
1. Allow a cold engine to warm up at LOW IDLE for at least five minutes. Engage and disengage the attachment controls to help speed warm-up of hydraulic components.Cycle all controls to allow warm oil to circulate through all cylinders and lines.When idling the engine for warm-up, observe the following recommendations:* In temperatures above 0°C (+32°F), warm-up requires approximately 15 minutes.* In temperatures below 0°C (+32°F), warm-up requires approximately 30 minutes or more.* In temperatures below -18°C (0°F) or if hydraulic functions are sluggish, more time may be required. 2. Move the EMS test switch up. The fault alarm should sound. The fault indicators should come on. The fault light should flash.3. Release the EMS test switch. All fault lights and the fault alarm, should go off. If the lights do not go off, stop the engine. Have any necessary repairs made before starting again. 4. Look at the fault light and gauges frequently during operation.5. Look at the hydraulic oil tank and transmission oil levels. Maintain the oil levels to the FULL marks.Look at the gauges frequently during operation.
