Remove bolts (5) and plate (6) from rear trunnion support (3). The weight of the plate is approximately 15 kg (33 lb).

Remove thrust bearing (7) from rear trunnion (8).
Attach a suitable lifting device to rear trunnion support (3). The weight of the rear trunnion support is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).
Remove rear trunnion support (3) from trunnion (8).
Attach a suitable lifting device to trunnion (8). The weight of the trunnion is approximately 56 kg (123 lb).
Remove bolts (9) and the washers.
Remove trunnion (8).

Remove O-ring seal (10) from rear trunnion support (3).

Use Tooling (A) and a press to remove sleeve bearing (11) from the back of rear trunnion support (3).Installation Procedure

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install sleeve bearing (11) in the back of rear trunnion support (3).

Install O-ring seal (10) in rear trunnion support (3).
Apply Tooling (B) to the sleeve bearing and the O-ring seal.

Attach a suitable lifting device to trunnion (8). The weight of the trunnion is approximately 56 kg (123 lb).
Install trunnion (8).
Install sixteen bolts (9) and the washers. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 210 40 N m (155 30 lb ft). Tighten bolts (9) an additional 120° 10°.
Attach a suitable lifting device to rear trunnion support (3), as shown. The weight of the rear trunnion support is approximately 113 kg (250 lb).
Install rear trunnion support (3) to trunnion (9).
Apply Tooling (B) to thrust bearing (7). Install thrust bearing (7) in rear trunnion support (3).

Install plate (6) and bolts (5) into rear trunnion support (3). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 210 40 N m (155 30 lb ft). Tighten bolts (5) an additional 120° 10°.

Apply Tooling (B) to thrust bearing (4). Install thrust bearing (4) in rear trunnion support (3).

Apply Tooling (C) to the mating surfaces of rear trunnion support (3) and cover (2). Install cover (2), ten bolts (1), and the washers. The weight of the cover is approximately 22 kg (49 lb). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 210 40 N m (155 30 lb ft). Tighten bolts (1) an additional 120° 10°.End By:
Install the oscillating axle. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Oscillating Axle (Rear) - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
