When carrier machines are equipped with front attachments other than buckets, lifting a load that is greater than shown in the Loading Chart for that machine could cause the attachment to rotate downward, allowing the load to slide or pitch forward resulting in personal injury or death.
The combined weight of the coupler, attachment and load must not be greater than than the maximum allowable load at the load application point as shown in the Loading Chart for the carrier machine. Consult the Loading Charts in this manual or in the Operation and Maintenance Manual for the carrier machine to determine your equipment's maximum allowable load and attachment combination.Contact your Caterpillar dealer before using any attachment other than the standard factory installed equipment.
