Loosely install line fitting (1) at the fuel transfer pump and line fitting (3) at the fuel filter base.
Position steel fuel line (2) onto the engine. Finger tighten the line nuts at each end of the steel fuel line onto the line fittings.
Attach the clips to the fuel line. Ensure that the steel line is properly placed and secure.
Tighten the fitting at the fuel transfer pump and the fitting at the fuel filter base to the following torque. The line nuts must be loose enough to turn freely on the steel fuel line.Torque for fuel line fittings ... 27 3 N m (20 2 lb ft)
Tighten the line nuts at each end of the steel fuel line to the following torque. Use an extra wrench in order to hold the fuel line fitting from turning.Torque for line nuts ... 27 3 N m (20 2 lb ft)
