In order to test the 169-7443 On Delay Timer As using Special Instruction, REHS4499, "Testing the Refrigerant Compressor Protection Module".
After troubleshooting, turn the machine OFF.
The on delay timer assembly is located with the air conditioning compressor.

Disconnect the electrical connection, remove the retaining bolt, and remove the on delay timer assembly (1) .
Label the wires on the harness as 1, 2, 3, and 4 according to correct position in the existing connector plug assembly (2) .
Remove the connector plug assembly from the existing harness and cut off the existing sockets of the wires.
Strip each wire back and use a 239-5260 Crimp Tool to install a 9X-3402 Connector Socket onto each wire.

(2) Existing plug-connector (3) New connector plug assembly
Install the new connector sockets into the new 230-5008 Connector Plug As (3) in the following order:
Wire "1" from existing plug-connector into position "1" on the new connector plug assembly (3) .
Wire "2" from existing plug-connector into position "2" on the new connector plug assembly (3) .
Wire "3" from existing plug-connector into position "3" on the new connector plug assembly (3) .
Wire "4" from existing plug-connector into position "4" on the new connector plug assembly (3) .Note: A "click" will be heard when the connector sockets are correctly installed into new connector plug assembly (3). Ensure that the connector sockets are correctly installed by then gently pulling on them and making sure that the connector sockets do not come out of the connector.
Install the new 338-1942 On Delay Timer As with the existing bolt and plug in the electrical connectors.

Secure the wiring and connector with two cable straps (4) .
