Clean Outside of Radiator Core
Remove bolts and open the radiator guard on the front of the machine.Compressed air, high pressure water or steam can be used to remove dust, leaves and general debris from a radiator. Clean as required by condition of radiator.The use of compressed air is preferred.Refer to Know Your Cooling System, SEBD0518, for the complete procedure and instructions.Power Train Oil System
Clean Scavenge Line Screens
The power train screens must be removed and cleaned if the power train oil pump fails, or if the transmission or torque converter are dissembled for any reason.Do not crush domed screens.
The oil must be drained before cleaning the screens. 1. Remove the floor plate to gain access to the torque converter and the power train oil pump. 2. Remove the torque converter scavenge line screen cover.3. Remove the screen. 4. Remove the power train oil pump cover.5. Remove the screen.6. Wash the screens in clean, nonflammable solvent.7. Install the two screens and covers.8. Install the floor plate. 9. Remove the transmission scavenge line screen cover.10. Remove the screen.11. Wash the screen in clean, nonflammable solvent.12.
