If the Blocked Cylinder Tests gives an indication of leakage that is too high in one or more of the cylinders, do the Blocked Cylinder Tests for the Right Side. It is not necessary to do this test for both sides. This series of tests gives the amount of leakage in each cylinder. For best accuracy, move the control valves through several cycles to warm all the hydraulic components to the same temperature as the oil in the hydraulic tank.For this series of tests, the cylinders on the right side of the machine are blocked. Use Blocking Plate Assemblies in the rod end of the lift cylinder, tilt cylinder and auxiliary cylinder. Install the assemblies as fast as possible to keep oil loss to a minimum.
