This article has been replaced by the following article.Description of Change: A new spark plug is available for these engines. The new spark plug has several improvements that will provide increased reliability.The internal resistance has decreased from 1000 ohms to 500 ohms. The location of the internal resistor has been moved further away from the threads. Use a 1000 volt multimeter to obtain an accurate measurement of the resistance of a spark plug. A resistance measurement of more than 1000 ohms usually indicates a failure of the internal resistor.Adaptable To: The new 194-8518 Spark Plug is a direct replacement for the former 146-2588 Spark Plug in G3500 engines and the former 149-9931 Spark Plug in G3600 engines. The former spark plugs are cancelled.
