Information:

Recover the air conditioner refrigerant from the air conditioning system. Refer to Service Manual, SERN5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.

Remove screws (1) and tread (2). Remove floor mat (3).

Remove bolts (5) and (6). Slide seat assembly (4) forward.

Remove bolts (8). Raise cover (7) and secure cover (7) out of the way.

Remove duct (9) and panel (10).

Disconnect harness assemblies (12).
Remove pressure switch (11) and the O-ring seal. Remove pressure switch (13) and the O-ring seal. Installation Procedure
Note: Check the O-ring seals for wear or for damage. Replace the components, if necessary.

Install pressure switch (13) and the O-ring. Install pressure switch (11) and the O-ring. Tighten pressure switches (13) and (11) to a torque of 8.0 1.5 N m (71.0 13.0 lb in).
Connect harness assemblies (12).

Install panel (10) and duct (9).

Lower tray (7) and install bolts (8).

Slide seat assembly (4) into position. Install bolts (5) and (6).

Install floor mat (3). Position tread (2) and install screws (1).
Charge the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a" for the procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the tools.
