Removal Procedure
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Note: This removal procedure is effective for the following pilot valves: dozer and ripper.Note: Do not remove the aluminum casting of the control valve body. Do not disconnect pilot hoses or replace pilot hoses when disconnection is not required. Avoid contamination of the pilot hydraulic system.

Remove the following components: armrest (1), lockout control (2), horn button (3) (not shown), joystick control (4) and rings (5). Loosen the bracket and unplug speed mode switch (6). Remove console (7) completely.

Remove bolts (8) that lie diagonally. Remove lever lockplate (9) and rubber boot (10) .

Remove bolts (11) and detent plate (12) .

Remove bolts (13), shims (14), and lever assembly (15) .

Move magnet (17) out of the way. Remove rings (16) .

Remove bolts (18) that lie diagonally. Remove adapter (19) and plate (20) .

Remove cartridge valves (21) .
