Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the elevator pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Elevator) - Remove". The information is in this manual.

Remove four bolts (1) that secure pressure compensator valve (2) to elevator pump (3) . Remove pressure compensator valve (2) and three O-ring seals from elevator pump (3) .Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

Install three O-ring seals and pressure compensator valve (2) to elevator pump (3) . Install four bolts (1) in order to secure pressure compensator valve (2) to elevator pump (3) .End By: Install the elevator pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Elevator) - Install". The information is in this manual.
