Some AP-1055B and BG-2455C Asphalt Pavers equipped with grade and slope controls may experience sticking of the 134-2561 Towpoint Cylinders. This sticking can be caused by the bore of the rod sleeve being undersized and cause the cylinder to run hotter and not perform properly through the entire range of stroke.Solution:
The cylinder can be checked for proper bore size by removing the cylinder from the machine and checking for smooth movement. The rod should move through its full stroke when pulled or pushed.
