Keep away from the area around the machine when the machine is being driven up on tooling.If the tooling was not installed properly the tooling can come out from under the tracks with force and cause injury or death.

Adjust tool (B) until the height is approximately 108 cm (42.5 inch).
Adjust tool (C) until the height is 72.4 cm (28.5 inch).
Use the following steps to install tool (A), (B) and (C) .
Put tool (A) at the rear of the machine.
Start the machine and move the machine to the rear and up on tool (A) .
Put tool (C) in position under the bevel gear case. Note: The weight of the rear of the machine will not be on tool (C) until the front of the machine is lifted with tool (A) .
Put tool (A) in position in front of the machine.
Slowly move the machine up on tool (A) .Note: As the front of the machine goes up, the rear of the machine will come down on tool (C) .
Lift the front of the machine until tool (B) can be installed under the radiator guard on the main frame of the machine.Note: You should now be able to remove tool (A) from the tracks at the rear of the machine.
Move both tracks to the rear until tool (A) is free at the front of the machine.
Turn off the machine.

Remove guard assemblies (1) and (2) .

Use the following steps in order to compress the recoil spring.
Put slug (3) that is 76.2 mm (3.00 inch) in diameter and 63.5 mm (2.50 inch) long in the sprocket segment.
Start the machine and slowly move the machine to the rear.Note: Make sure that the slug makes contact with a bushing, as shown. As the machine is moved to the rear with the slug in position, the recoil spring will be put under compression.
Move the machine until the front pilot of the recoil spring assembly is approximately 3.2 mm (0.125 inch) away from the stops that are fastened to the track roller frame.

Remove bolt (4) and washer (5) .
Tighten nut (6) by hand in order to hold the recoil spring in a shorter position.
Slowly move the machine and remove the slug from the sprocket.
Turn off the machine.
Install guards (1) and (2) .
Make a separation of the track. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Separate".

Remove guard assemblies (7) and (8) .

Remove four bolts (9) and nuts.
Pull the front idler and the yoke forward on the track roller frame.

Remove hydraulic track adjuster (10) .

Remove O-ring seal (11) .
Repeat Steps 5 through 14 for the left side of the machine.
