maintenance of the compression brake should be performed in conjunction with scheduled engine maintenance. The correct tune-up kit is required, when parts are replaced on the compression brake. Refer to Parts Manual for further information.Inspect the following components of the compression brake.

Wiring harnessInspect the slave piston adjusting screw of the compression brake. Adjust this component, as required.Note: The slave piston adjustment must be performed after the engine valve lash is performed. Make the slave piston adjustment while the engine is stopped.Replace the following components of the compression brake.
