Install shaft assembly (7).

Install bushing (6) and springs (5).

Install O-ring seal (4) and thrust washer (3).

Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Use two people to install cover assembly (2) and four bolts (1). The weight of cover assembly (2) is approximately 36 kg (80 lb).
Tighten four bolts (1) evenly.

Install remaining bolts (1). Tighten all bolts (1) to a torque of 108 N m (80 lb ft).

Install the O-ring seal onto ring gear (61). Use bolts (48) (not shown) to install ring gear (61).
Remove bolts (48) (not shown) once ring gear (61) is installed.

Install washers (59), gear (60), pin (57), and roll pin (58).
Repeat Step 44 for the remaining gears.

Install thrust washer (56).

Install O-ring seal (53) onto adapter plate (51).

Install adapter plate (51) and bolts (48). Tighten bolts (48) to a torque of 77 N m (57 lb ft).
Install dowel pins (52), extension shaft (49), and O-ring seal (50).

Install brake plate (45) onto brake assembly (44).
Install washers (46) onto brake assembly (44).
Raise the temperature of bearings (47). Install bearings (47) onto brake assembly (44).

Install brake assembly (43) into brake housing (42).

Install brake housing (42) and bolts (41). Tighten bolts (41) to a torque of 108 N m (80 lb ft).End By:
