TURBOCHARGER GP-WATER COOLED 4W6750 - Caterpillar

Release the pressure in the implement hydraulic system.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove the existing sensor (1) from the implement pump. The sensor is connected to the outlet line of the implement pump. Disconnect the sensor from the electrical connector (2) .

An extension for the harness must be constructed. Refer to illustration 2. The wire is 18 gauge wire. The wire should be 832 mm (32.7 inch) in length. Connect the gray wire to position (A). Connect the black wire to position (B). Connect the blue wire to position (C). 155-2260 Connecting Plug Kit is terminated with 8T-8730 Connector Sockets. 102-8803 Receptacle Kit is terminated with 8T-8729 Connector Pins .Note: The connectors and pins are also available in 175-3700 Connector Repair Kit .

Mount 204-7141 Bracket Assembly (16) to the support that is located near the right side of the implement pump. Use one 8T-4195 Bolt and 8T-4121 Hard Washer (18) in order to mount the bracket. The bolt should be installed into an existing boss.
Install 6V-8723 Elbow (17) to the bracket. Use one 6V-8397 O-Ring Seal and one 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal with the elbow.
Install 6V-3965 Nipple Assembly (15) into the bracket assembly, as shown. Use one 3J-1907 O-Ring Seal and one 6V-0852 Dust Cap with the fitting.
Install the sensor that was previously removed. The tubular part of the sensor (10) should be installed on the support column. Mount the sensor by using the 4S-4455 Clip, 8T-4121 Hard Washer, and 8T-4137 Bolt (9). Install the threaded end of the sensor (12) into the nipple assembly by using one 7J-0204 O-Ring Seal. Tighten the sensor to 10 2 N m (88.5 17.7 lb in). Connect the plug (11) for the sensor to the existing harness. Attach 115-3069 Connector Clip Assembly in order to secure the harness. Use 5P-9299 Clip, 8T-4121 Hard Washer, and 8T-4137 Bolt in order to secure the harness to the support (19) .

Connect the other end of the harness (22) to the existing wiring harness on the machine. Install two 4P-8134 Clips and install two 9X-6772 Straps (20) (21) .

Install 204-7140 Hose Assembly (22) onto the elbow that was installed in the bracket assembly, as shown. Install 204-7143 Adapter (23), 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal (24) and 8T-1905 Elbow (25) to the output line of the implement pump. Install the other end of 204-7140 Hose Assembly (22) onto the 8T-1905 Elbow (25), as shown.
Purge any air from the system. Temporarily connect a valve to the nipple assembly (15) that is located on the bracket assembly. Open the valve after the system is pressurized in order to purge any air from the system. Remove the valve when the system is purged of air.
