Plugged weep hole on the fuel transfer pumpNote: For additional information, refer to Special Instruction, REHS3007, "Determining the Cause of Fuel Dilution of Engine Oil".Recommended Actions
Contact with high pressure fuel may cause fluid penetration and burn hazards. High pressure fuel spray may cause a fire hazard. Failure to follow these inspection, maintenance and service instructions may cause personal injury or death.
Leaking Seals on the Case of the Unit Injector or on the Barrel of the Unit Injector
Look for signs of damage to the seals for the unit injectors. Replace any seals that are leaking.Fuel Transfer Pump
Ensure that the weep hole is not plugged. If necessary, repair the fuel transfer pump or replace the fuel transfer pump.
