Remove Exhaust Manifold (Industrial Engine)
START BY:a. remove turbocharger 1. Loosen clamp (1) that holds the breather tube to the breather.2. Remove bolt (4) that holds the breather tube to the engine, and move the breather tube away from the exhaust manifold.3. Remove the nuts and spacers (2), and remove exhaust manifold (3).4. Remove the gaskets from the studs.Install Exhaust Manifold (Industrial Engine)
1. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on studs (2).2. Put gaskets (1) and exhaust manifold (3) in position on the studs, and install the spacers and nuts.3. Tighten the nuts in the number sequence shown to a torque of 52 7 N m (38 5 lb.ft.). 4. Put breather tube (5) in position on the breather, and tighten clamp (4). Install bolt (6) that holds the breather tube to the cylinder block.END BY:a. install turbochargerRemove Exhaust Manifold (Marine Engine)
START BY:a. remove turbocharger 1. Remove bolts (1), and disconnect flange (2) from the exhaust manifold. 2. Remove tube (6) from the engine.3. Remove the bolts that hold adapter (4) to the regulator housing, and move the adapter into pipe (5).4. Remove six bolts (3), and remove pipe (5) from the engine. 5. Remove nut (8) and spacers (7), and remove exhaust manifold (9).6. Remove the gaskets from the cylinder head.Install Exhaust Manifold (Marine Engine)
1. Replace all seals that are worn or damaged, and put clean engine oil on them. 2. Make sure the seal is in position on elbow (3).3. Put 5P3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the studs.4. Put gaskets (1) and exhaust manifold (2) on the cylinder head, and install the spacers and nuts that hold the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head.5. Tighten the nuts in the number sequence shown to a torque of 52 7 N m (38 5 lb.ft.). 6. Put the gasket and pipe (6) on the cylinder head, and install bolts (4).7. Connect adapter (5) to the regulator housing.8. Install tube (7) on the engine. 9. Connect flange (8) to the exhaust manifold.END BY:a. install turbocharger
