The ports of the valve are mounted in order to face the rear of the 428C and 438C machines. The function of the valves for each machine is identical. The operation of the valves is also identical except for the valves for the stabilizer. The 416C, 426C and 436C machines utilize control valves that are different for the 428C and 438C machines. The control valves operate in a similar manner.The 416C, 426C and 436C machines utilize lock valves that are different for the 428C and 438C machines. The lock valves operate in a similar manner.The bank valves (backhoe control) are located below the floorplate at the rear of the operator station. The valves are mounted on the rear frame. Standard equipment includes the following items: inlet cover (1), boom control valve (3), swing control valve (4), left stabilizer control valve (5), right stabilizer control valve (6), bucket control valve (7), stick control valve (8) and end cover (10). End cover (10) also contains a back pressure valve.Various optional auxiliary circuits are available. If one of these options is installed on the machine, auxiliary control valve (2) is also a part of the bank valves (backhoe control).An optional extendable stick is available. If this option is installed on the machine, extendable stick control valve (9) is also a part of the bank valves (backhoe control).
