Information:

1. Remove cover (1) from the crankcase guard.2. Put a floor jack in position under the crankcase guard as shown. Fasten the floor jack to the guard with two 1/2"-13 NC bolts 2 in. (50.8 mm) long.
The guard must be fastened to the floor jack before the bolts that hold the guard are removed. The guard will fall off the jack if it is not fastened to it.
3. Remove bolts (2) that hold the guard to the frame of the machine. Lower the guard and remove it from under the machine. The weight of the crankcase guard (3) is 235 lb. (106 kg).Install Crankcase Guard
1. Put crankcase guard (1) in position on the floor jack as shown. Fasten the guard to the jack with two 1/2"-13 NC bolts 2 in. (50.8 mm) long. Lift the guard until it makes contact with the frame of the machine. Install the bolts that hold the guard. 2. Install cover (2) on the crankcase guard.
