The 9W6370 Electronic Speed Switch Adapter CableThe cable connects to the 8T5197 Calibrator Cable from the 8T5200 Signal Generator/Counter Group. These two cables are then used to connect the "CAL.OUT" on the 8T5201 Signal Generator/Counter to the magnetic speed pickup input terminals on the two and three element electronic speed switches. The 8T5200 Signal Generator/Counter Group can then be used to send a speed signal to the electronic speed switch in place of the magnetic pickup: to check and or adjust the overspeed setpoint, crank termination, and oil step latch functions.
The 8T5200 Signal Generator/Counter Group cannot be used to check the four element electronic speed switch that has reverse rotation detection, and uses a Hall Effect Sensor for speed detection.
