(1) Old latches
Remove the existing latch assemblies (1). These parts will not be reused.

(2) Wear plates
Inspect the existing 274-4028 Wear Plates (2). If the wear on the plates exceeds 3 mm (0.1 inch), replace the wear plates. If the wear plates are replaced, tighten the bolts to 41 N m (30 lb ft).

(3) Nuts (4) 326-0610 Latch As (5) Nuts (6) 326-0614 Cam (7) Lock washers
Assemble the new 326-0614 Cams onto the new 326-0610 Latch As with nuts (5) and lock washers (7) .
Assemble the new 326-0610 Latch As (4) to the engine enclosure. The new latches use the same orientation as the old latches that were removed in Step 1. Tighten nuts (3) to 7.2 2 N m (65 17 lb in).Note: Install the latches in the same orientation as the latches that were removed.
Adjust nuts (5) in order to set distance (A). Use the following dimensions in order to properly adjust distance (A).

Tighten nuts (5) to 47 4 N m (35 3 lb ft).
Bend at least one of the tabs of each of the lock washers (7) in order to prevent the nuts (5) from backing off.
