Remove the rear tires and rims.
Remove the rear drive shaft.

Disconnect harness assembly (1). Cut cable strap (2).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the oscillating axle. The weight of the oscillating axle is approximately 1635 kg (3600 lb).

Remove bolts (7). Repeat this step for the opposite side.

Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device to lower oscillating axle (10) onto Tooling (B). Remove the suitable lifting device from oscillating axle (10). Use Tooling (B) to move oscillating axle (10) from under the machine.Installation Procedure
Install oscillating axle (10) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten bolts (7), (8), and (9) to a torque of 350 35 N m (258 26 lb ft). Tighten bolts (7), (8), and (9) an additional 120° 10°.
