Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the engine oil pump, if necessary.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Remove bolts (1).
Remove cylinder block side cover (2) from cylinder block (3).

Remove bolts (4) and retainer (5) from cylinder block (3).

Remove piston cooling jet (6) from the inside of cylinder block (3). Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Position piston cooling jet (6) in cylinder block (3). Ensure that the oil holes in the end of piston cooling jet (6) are facing toward the piston.

Install retainer (5) and bolts (4) in cylinder block (3).

Install cylinder block side cover (2) and bolts (1) on to cylinder block (3). End By:
Install the engine oil pump, if necessary.
