Removal Procedure
Start By:
Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.
Remove the refrigerant condenser. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Refrigerant Condenser - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Remove the hydraulic oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, SENR6693, "Hydraulic Oil Cooler - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Remove fourteen bolts (1) .
Remove fan shroud (2) and (3) .

Loosen bolt (5) on alternator bracket (4) .
Remove two drive belts (6) .

Disconnect fan adapter (9) from hub (7) .Note: You can disassemble the fan drive without removing the bracket from the machine. The following steps show the removal of the bracket and disassembly of the fan drive.
