3406B (4TB) Marine EnginesDescription of Change: A new O-ring seal and new gaskets are made with materials that are capable of resisting higher temperatures. As a result, the improved O-ring seal and gaskets can provide greater resistance to oil and fuel leaks in the pump and governor.Adaptable To: Chart 1 lists the new and former O-ring seal and gaskets that are contained in the governor and fuel injector pump group on all 3406B and 3406C Engines with the New Scroll Fuel System (NSFS). The new O-ring seal and new gaskets are adaptable to first production of the above 3406B and 3406C Engines. The new O-ring seal and new gaskets become effective with the engine serial numbers listed in Chart 2.
