Apply Tooling (C) to the outside of bulkhead (3) and on the inside bore of the track roller frame.
Install Tooling (B) in the threaded holes for bolts (1) .Note: The track adjuster piston and the cylinder must be in position in the bulkhead before assembly.
Support track adjuster (2) with a suitable lifting device. The weight of track adjuster (2) is approximately 43 kg (95 lb). Position track adjuster (2) on the guide bolts and in the track roller frame.
Remove the suitable lifting device and the guide bolts.
Install bolts (1). Use bolts (1) in order to pull bulkhead (3) until track adjuster (2) is seated. Tighten bolts (1) to a torque of 620 80 N m (460 60 lb ft).End By: Install the idler assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Idler and Yoke - Install".
