The Challenger undercarriage bogie roller Duo-ConeSeal Groups may leak, especially if the tractor is operated at high speeds.The tractor may experience multiple seal leakage. If eight or less SealGroups are leaking, only those Seal Groups should be replaced. If nineor more Seal Groups are leaking, all bogie roller Duo-Cone Seal Groupsmay be replaced.AFFECTED PRODUCT

Reference: Disassembly And Assembly (Challenger65E, Challenger 75E, Challenger 85E and Challenger 95E Agricultural TractorsPower Train) Service Manual Module; Form No: SENR1739-01.Replace the Duo-Cone Seal Groups in the undercarriagebogie roller assemblies. Refer to the Bogie Roller Assemblies Remove/Installsections and Duo-Cone seal installation procedure included in the referencedService Manual Module. A break-in lubricant should be usedon the Seal Group faces during installation. 6V4876 Molykote Paste Lubricant(500 g [1.1 lb] container) is preferred, but 8T2998 Camshaft and FollowerLubricant (240 ml [8 oz.] container) is an acceptable substitute. Once all of the new Seal Gps. are installed,drive the machine for ten minutes at less than 8 km/h (5 mph) in orderto seal the seals.
