Test Preparation
Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location.
Place the steering control lever in the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake.
Extend the counterweight approximately 30.5 cm (12 inch).
Stop the engine.
Turn the key to the ON position, but do not start the engine.
Verify that the implement lockout switch is in the UNLOCKED position.
Move the thumb rocker for the counterweight control to the EXTEND position. The counterweight should move outward to the neutral position.
Move the control levers through the full range of travel several times. This procedure should relieve any pressure that may be present in the implement hydraulic system.
Make sure that the pressure in the entire hydraulic system has been released.

Connect Tooling (A) to ports (B1) and (B2). Test Procedure - Brake Valve
Start the engine. Warm the hydraulic oil to a temperature of 84° 8°C (183° 14°F).
Operate the engine at LOW IDLE. Make sure that the steering control lever is in the NEUTRAL position.
The pressure at tooling (A) should be less than 70 kPa (10 psi) when the parking brake or the service brake is engaged.
Disengage the parking brake.
Check the pressure at Tooling (A). The pressure at Tooling (A) should be 2620 140 kPa (380 20 psi).
Operate the engine at HIGH IDLE. Make sure that the steering control lever is in the NEUTRAL position.
Check the pressure at tooling (A). The pressure at tooling (A) should be 2965 140 kPa (430 20 psi). Test Preparation - Right Brake
Perform steps 1 through 10 of the "Test Preparation".
