Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the transmission case assembly (23) . Carefully install the transmission case assembly (23) to the transmission cover assembly (31) . Be careful not to bind on the locating pins during the installation.

Install spring pin (30) in seal carrier (25) .
Install seal rings (29) on seal carrier (25) .
Install O-ring seals (28) in seal carriers (25) .

Install Tooling (A) (not shown) in seal carrier (25) . Carefully install seal carrier (25) in the original transmission case assembly bore (27) . Ensure that spring pin (30) is installed in the proper location in the shaft assembly.
Install bolts (26) to secure seal carrier (25) to the shaft assembly. Tighten bolts (26) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).

Install bolts (24) around the transmission case assembly (23) . Tighten bolts (24) to a torque of 55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
Install four covers and the O-ring seals to the transmission case assembly (23) .
Install bolts (22) in the four covers. Tighten bolts (22) to a torque of 28 7 N m (21 59 lb ft).

Install input sensor (18) . Tighten input sensor (18) to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft). Install plate assembly (20) and harness assembly (19) . Install bolts (20A) .

Install output speed sensors (17) . Tighten output speed sensors to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft). Install cover (16) .

Install dowels (15D) , hub (15C) , disc (15B) , and plates (15A) .

Install O-ring seal (14A) .

Use two people to install brake (15) . The weight of brake (15) is approximately 34 kg (75 lb). Install bolts (14) . Install yoke (13) and bolt (12) . Tighten bolt (12) to a torque of 120 20 N m (89 15 lb ft).

Attach a suitable lifting device to pump (11) . Install pump (11) and bolts (10) . The weight of pump (11) is approximately 25 kg (55 lb).
Install intermediate sensors (9) and hose assembly (8) . Tighten intermediate sensors (9) to a torque of 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft).

Install Tooling (A) on transmission control valve (1) . Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A) .
Install transmission control valve (1) and install bolts (2) . Tighten bolts (2) to a torque 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).
Install hose assemblies (5) . Install tube assembly (4) . Install temperature sensor (3) . Tighten temperature sensor (3) to a torque of 20 3 N m (15 2 lb ft).End By: Install the transmission. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission - Install" for the correct procedure.
