Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (A) to engine (22). Install engine (22) and bolt (24). Install bolt (23) on both sides of the engine. The weight of the engine is approximately 333 kg (735 lb).

Install bracket (21) and bolts (20) .
Install hydraulic filter assembly (19) and bolts (17) .
Connect hose assembly (18) and hose assembly (16) to hydraulic filter assembly (19) .

Reposition harness assembly (4) and connect harness assemblies (15) .
Reposition hoses (7) and install bolt (14) .

Note: A typical example
Reposition cable assembly (13) and install bracket (12) and the bolts. Install nut (11) .

Connect hose (10) to the engine and tighten the clamp.
Connect hose (9) to the fuel pump and tighten the clamp.
Connect hose (8) to the engine and tighten the clamp.
Connect hoses (7) to the fuel filter assembly and tighten the clamps.

Connect harness assembly (6) to the engine and install the nut.

Install guard (5) and the bolts.
Reposition harness assembly (4) .

Connect hose (3) to the radiator and tighten the clamp.

Connect hose (2) to the radiator and the engine and tighten the clamps.
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
Connect the negative battery cable.End By: Install the piston pump (propel). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Propel) - Install".
