Bottom view of the drive pumps after the bottom guards have been removed.
(LRB) Left side reverse drive pressure for the front pump ("B" Port)
(RRB) Right side reverse drive pressure for the rear pump ("B" Port)
Remove the plugs from the ports that are located on the bottom of the drive pumps.
Install Tooling (D) into the two ports.
Connect Tooling (B) or (C) to Tooling (D).
Start the engine and run the engine at LOW IDLE.
Depress the decelerator/brake pedal.
Release the parking brake.
Select the highest maximum ground speed setting.
Increase the engine speed to HIGH IDLE.
Move the speed and direction control to the FORWARD position.
Release the decelerator/brake pedal.

Use the Electronic Technician (ET) in order to check the following items. Select the "Status Tool" icon from the row of icons. Then, select "Hystat Inputs" from the left hand column. Record the following items onto the worksheet.
Engine speed
Drive pressure for the front pump (RFA)
Drive pressure for the rear pump (LFA)
Speed of the left drive motor
Speed of the right drive motor
The engine speed should be 2150 25 rpm.
The drive pressure for the front pump at pressure tap (RFA) should be 7500 2500 kPa (1088 363 psi).
The drive pressure for the rear pump at pressure tap (LFA) should be 7500 2500 kPa (1088 363 psi).
The speed of the drive motors should be 3155 150 rpm for the following machines.
FFF1-Up
LLL1-Up
MMM1-Up
RRR1-Up
JTD1-UpThe speed of the drive motors should be 3146 150 rpm for the following machines.
WWW1-Up
YYY1-Up
JLF1-Up
Subtract the speed of the right drive motor from the speed of the left drive motor. The difference between the two drive motors should be 0 to 40 rpm.
Move the speed and direction control to the NEUTRAL position and allow the tracks to come to a complete stop.
Depress the decelerator/brake pedal.
Move the speed and direction control to the REVERSE position.
Release the decelerator/brake pedal.
Record the following items onto the worksheet.
Engine speed
Drive pressure for the front pump (LRB)
Drive pressure for the rear pump (RRB)
Speed of the left drive motor
Speed of the right drive motor
The engine speed should be 2150 25 rpm.

Subtract the speed of the right drive motor from the speed of the left drive motor. The difference between the two drive motors should be 0 to 40 rpm.
Move the speed and direction control to the NEUTRAL position.
Decrease the engine speed to LOW IDLE.
Stop the engine.
