1. Let the pressure out of brake system with tool (A).2. Loosen bolts (2) from the end of brake head (3) that hold the pins.3. Install a 3/8"-16NC forged eyebolt in pin (1). Pull pin out far enough to remove inside brake lining. 4. Turn wheel to line up slot in wheel with pin, install tool (B) and pull outside pin out far enough to remove outside lining.5. Remove the brake linings.Install Brake Linings
1. Push the brake pistons into the brake. This gives clearance for the new brake linings. 2. Put linings (1) in position on the lower pins in the brake.3. Install pins (2).4. Check the distance between the pins and disc with a thickness gauge (3). This distance must be a minimum of .010 in. (0,25 mm). Move the pins (2) in or out to provide the clearance. 5. Tighten the bolts (4) that hold the pins.6. Fill the master cylinder with fluid. Remove the air from the brake system with tool (A).7. Make several applications of the brakes to give the brake pistons a good seat against the brake linings.
