The slots in the bottom of the doors have been enlarged. This allows more paint to enter during manufacturing and creates a larger area through which condensation can drain out of the door. A new sealant has been added to the door panels before they are welded together. This will improve the sealing around the weld and help prevent rusting through the welds.
Doors with these improvements are available through the parts system. The improved doors are on production machines with the following serial numbers listed below:
