1. Put the sliding floor in position level with the ground, and put blocks under each side of the bowl. 2. Place a floor jack under floor link (1). Remove bolts (3), bar (4) and pin (2). Lower the link to the floor. 3. Open the sliding floor to the position shown. Put a floor jack under each side of the sliding floor. Remove roller assemblies (5) and the shims from each side. Remove sliding floor (6) from the scraper. The weight of the sliding floor is approximately 590 kg (1300 lb.).
Use care when the sliding floor is removed. As soon as it is removed, put blocks under the sliding floor so it will not fall off the floor jacks.
Install Sliding Floor
1. With the floor jacks installed on both sides of the sliding floor, put the floor in position. 2. With the sliding floor in position, install the shims and two roller assemblies (1) on each side of the sliding floor. The clearance between the floor rollers and the sides of the bowl is 1.5 to 4.6 mm (.06 to .18 in.). If necessary, add to or remove shims to get the necessary clearance. The thickness of a 7J5095 Shim is 3.40 mm (.134 in.). 3. Put the floor jack under floor link (2), and put it in position. Install pin (3) and bar (4).4. Remove the blocks from the scraper.
