VALVE AS-DRAIN 0935432 - Caterpillar

Remove the lower mounting bolt for 396-7201 Bracket (Z). Install 115-1615 Relay As (26) using the lower mounting location. Secure the relay with one 8T-4171 Bolt (50) and one 8T-4205 Hard Washer (52)

Connect the lead from 149-6371 Pressure Switch (2) to connector AR-C6 (14C) of 361-6398 Heater and Air Conditioner Harness As (14). Also connect the lead from the clutch of compressor (9) to connector AR-C9 (14F). Secure both connections to 132-5789 Clip (28) with one 3S-2093 Cable Strap (37).

Ensure that 189-3158 Arc Suppressor (14K) is connected to AR-C8 connector (14E). Both components are a part of 361-6398 Heater and Air Conditioner Harness As (14).Secure Arc Suppressor to the harness with one of 3S-2093 Cable Strap (37).

Remove 388-8118 Plate (AA) from the left-hand side of the machine. Retain the plate and the fasteners.

Secure 345-6081 Air Conditioner Plate (12) to 470-8336 Hose As (15). Use one 3S-2093 Cable Strap (37) to secure plate (12). Secure plate (12) close to the A/C Low side service fitting (AB).
Connect the A/C charging equipment to the machine. The A/C service fittings (AB and AC) are located behind 345-4546 Cab Heater Gp (D).
Evacuate A/C system and check for leaks. Once verified that there are no leaks, charge the A/C system. Charge the system with 1 kg (2.2 lb) of 3E-6654 Refrigerant (R134a).
Do Not overcharge system. Damage to the Refrigerant Compressor Gp may result.
Verify A/C and heating systems are operating correctly. Remove service equipment. Cap both service fittings.Note: Follow the manufacturer instructions for the A/C service equipment being used.Lower the lift arms. Refer to Operation and Maintenance.
