Software Installation and Configuration
To install software on the machine, the engine must not be running and the machine must be in the proper mode to perform the installation. Refer to the ECM's below:Engine - The RC/Manual switch must be in the MANUAL position.Power train - The RC/Manual switch must be in the MANUAL position.Implement - The RC/Manual switch must be in the MANUAL position.Advisor - The RC/Manual switch must be in the MANUAL position.Remote Control Module - The RC/Manual switch must be in the REMOTE CONTROL position.Note: Occasionally software flashing will change configurations. Save the configuration prior to flashing. Then, the configuration can be reloaded after the flash if any configuration is modified.Note: Evaluate any events or diagnostics that may be raised after flashing the updated software. Recalibration may be necessary.Software Enabled Attachment
Illustration 1 g02346109If installing remote control for the first time, the system will need enabled via a Software Enabled Attachment (SEA). The SEA is entered via a configuration in the power train ECM.Refer to Illustration 1.

Configure the Terrain avoidance zones using the Terrain office software. Ensure that the five zones are properly configured.
In MCU, enter the setting is "Avoidance Buffer Notification Level" dialog, the key in the mach_cfg is "$ Max Machine Zones =". Ensure that the five zones are properly configured.
Ensure that the "$ Avoidance Zone Boundary Count =" key that is based on the total number of avoidance zones is set to the correct number. Ensure that the five zones are properly configured.
