Generated patternRefer to Illustration 2 and Illustration 3. Upon positioning and orienting the drill, the operator must select the following items from the graphical user interfaces:
Pattern type
Pattern orientation
Pattern name
Blast name
Column seed
Row seed
Number of rows
Number of columns
Distance between holes in a column
Distance between columns
Target elevationPerform the following procedure to create a new pattern:
Press the next button in the map screen to access more map buttons. Refer to Illustration 1.
Press the pattern generator button.The pattern generation screen will appear. Refer to Illustration 2.
Select a pattern type. Select a pattern orientation.Note: A combination of pattern orientations may be selected. Once all the information is entered, the pattern prototype can be seen on the map screen. The map automatically adjusts so that the entire pattern can be displayed. At this time the pattern is not generated so the pattern can be redesigned.

Enter the desired information for the pattern in each of the fields.Note: The soft keyboard will display each time a text field is pressed to enter the information.
Press the back button.The system will prompt to save the generated pattern.

Press the confirmation button to save the generated pattern or press the cancel button to abandon the generated pattern.

Saving a generated patternThe pattern generator will then generate a real design drill pattern on the map screen with the use of the following information that was entered by the operator: bit position, heading and other information. Refer to Illustration 7.

Generated new patternThe operator will then be able to navigate the drill to the displayed hole locations. The drill system will drill to the required depth that is based on the design grade elevation. Refer to Illustration 8.Deleting a Pattern
