Automatic Lubrication
The auto lubrication system will now pause operation when the machine is at idle.Note: The machine must not be moving, not in gear, and the implements must not be active in order to activate the new auto lubrication feature.Fuel Tank Sensor
A new fuel tank sensor is available.Note: The new fuel tank sensor is not interchangeable with the original fuel tank sensor.

The new material has improved durability and is more impact resistant.The new fender design allows for a 10 percent improved front coverage of the cab on 980M and 982M with the new roading fender package.The new roading fender package for the 950M through 982M has 100 percent low profile coverage. More deflectors are available for 100 percent tire coverage.Optional steel front fenders are available. Eco mode offers 100 percent productivity with up to four percent less fuel consumption for general machine operation and up to eight percent fuel consumption for aggressive truck loading.This engine speed strategy reduces the engine high idle to 1,400 rpm when full power is not needed and returned to 1,600 rpm when additional power is required for operation. The reduction in rpm's is transparent to the operator.Eco mode can be enabled and disabled through the LCD display. The factory setting for Eco mode is set to "On" for XE configured machines.

Home Screen in the Graphical Display
(1) "Machine" button
Enable "Economy Mode".
Press "Machine" button (1) from the Home Screen in the Graphical Display.
Select "Settings" from the "Machine" menu and press "OK".
