VALVE GP-CONTROL 1070555 - Caterpillar

(1) Remove plate (1) and install new plate (2). Install the former lid assembly on the new plate. Install the safety tread as shown. (2) Remove the bumper. Install push-pull block support (3) with bolts (4) and washers; put lubricant on the bolt threads and on the face of the washers. Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 525 20 lb. ft. (710 27). (3) Remove door (5), plate (6) and the baffle. A new door, plate and baffle will be installed. (4) Remove plugs (7) and (8); install 307946 Elbows and the seals. Tighten the elbows until the openings are to the rear of the machine, when the valve is installed. (5) Install valve (9) with three bolts and washers to the inside of the left frame. (6) Install the new panel (10) door (11) and the baffle. (7) Fasten bracket (12) to the frame with three bolts and washers. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 320 15 lb.ft. (435 20). (8) Install cylinder (13) between bracket (12) and bail (14) with two pin assemblies (15), bolts and washers. (9) Install 307946 Elbows and seals in ports (16) and (17) and 3J7352 Connector and seal in port (18) of 8J5623 Kick-out Valve. (10) Fasten plate (19) to cylinder (13) with bolts and lockwashers. (11) Fasten valve (20) to plate (19) with bolts, nuts, lockwashers and washers. (12) Fasten unions (21) and (22), to plate (10) with two locknuts and install elbows (23) and (24) to plate (10) with two nuts. (13) Install tee (25) and seal to the rod end of cylinder (13). Connect tube (26) to connector (27) and an elbow in tee (25). Connect 9D6203 Hose (28) between tee (25) and union (22); 322232 Hose (29) between elbows (30) and (23); 322232 Hose (31) between elbows (32) and (24). Install elbow (33) and seal in cylinder (13); install 8S5619 Hose (34) between elbow (33) and union (21). Fasten the hoses with two straps and clip (35). (14) Remove cover (36) from the timing gear housing and install adapter (37); use the same nuts and washers and a new gasket. Install pump (38) to adapter (37). (15) Install 94391 Hose (39) between elbows (40) and (24). Install 9D6204 Hoses (41) and (42) to valve (9) with flanges and seals and connect to unions (21) and (22). Connect 2G3947 Hose (43) between valve (9) and pump (38) with flanges and seals. (16) Install elbow (44) and seal to selector valve (45); connect 9D6207 Hose (47) between elbows (44) and (8). Fasten to the existing hose with strap (48) and to the frame with clip (49). Connect 2G4475 Hose (50) to elbow (23) and 9D6213 Hose (51) to valve (9) with flanges and seal. (17) Drain the oil from the hydraulic tank, or use a vacuum cap assembly to hold the oil. Remove plug (52) and install elbow (53) and the seal; connect hose (51) to elbow (53).
