Before installation, lubricate the pin bores with Tooling (A) .

Lower the temperature of bearings (11), (12), and (13). Use insulated gloves to handle the bearings.
Install bearing (11) to a depth of 8.5 1.0 mm (0.33 0.04 inch).
Install bearing (12) to a depth of 11.0 1.0 mm (0.43 0.04 inch).
Install bearing (13) to a depth of 8.5 1.0 mm (0.33 0.04 inch).

Fasten a suitable lifting device to tilt lever (5) and to tilt link (4) .
Install tilt lever (5) and tilt link (4) as a unit. The total weight of the tilt lever and of the tilt link is approximately 109 kg (240 lb). Install pin assembly (7) and bolt (10) .
Install pin assembly (9) and bolt (8) .

Use a suitable lifting device to support tilt cylinder (1), as shown. Raise the tilt cylinder into position.
Install pin assembly (3) and bolt (2) .End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
