The overdrive is necessary to maintain proper pump RPM. All of the systems utilize a common hydraulic tank. The vibratory system will be covered in this manual.The vibratory system is composed of the following main components: vibratory pump group (7), vibratory control manifold (4) and vibratory motors (3).

Hydraulic Tank Compartment (10) Hydraulic tankHydraulic tank (10) is located in the center of the machine under the floor panels near the operator station. All hydraulic systems on the machine utilize the hydraulic tank. Access to the hydraulic tank is gained by lifting the center floor panels.Hydraulic oil for the vibratory system flows through a strainer before flowing into the vibratory pump. The strainer is located inside the hydraulic tank.

Pump Compartment (7) Vibratory pump (13) Vibratory pump control valveThe vibratory pump (7) is attached to the auxiliary pump. The vibratory pump control valve (13) is a solenoid activated valve that is mounted to the top of the pump. A dump valve and a relief valve are mounted in the same location as control valve (13) .Access to the vibratory pump and valves is gained through an access door on the right side of the machine.

Rear of the Machine (4) Vibratory control manifold (5) Quick disconnect plug for hydraulic oil return line (6) Quick disconnect plug for hydraulic oil supply lineQuick disconnect plug (5) for the return line and quick disconnect plug (6) for the supply line are mounted on the rear wall of the machine. Quick disconnect plug (6) for the supply line is connected to a hose that leads to the vibratory control manifold (4). The vibratory control manifold regulates the amount of oil flow to the vibratory motors (3). The vibratory control manifold and motors are located on the screed.Note: Refer to the service manuals and parts manuals for the screed on your machine for additional information.

Hydraulic Tank Compartment (1) Return filter manifold (12) Return oil filterThe vibratory motor routes return oil through a hose to quick disconnect plug (5) for the return line. The return oil is routed to the return filter manifold (1) and to the return oil filter (12) .Return oil filter (12) is located on the left side of the machine in the hydraulic tank compartment. Oil from the conveyor system and the vibratory system flow through the filter.
