VALVE GP-SOLENOID 1110570 - Caterpillar

1. Disconnect wiring harness going to fuel temperature sensor (1).2. Disconnect hose assembly (2) from siphon block (4).3. Remove six bolts (3) and the washers that hold the fuel manifold and siphon block (4) in position. Remove siphon block (4) and fuel manifold (5). 4. Remove the six O-ring seals from fuel manifold (5).5. Remove two O-ring seals (6) from siphon block (4). 6. Remove fitting (7), spring (9) and valve (10) from siphon block (4). Remove O-ring (8) from fitting (7).7. Remove fitting (11) from siphon block (4). Remove the O-ring seal from fitting (11). 8. Remove fuel temperature sensor (1) from siphon block (4). Remove the O-ring seal from fuel temperature sensor (1). The following steps are for the installation of the fuel manifold and the siphon block.9. Be sure all of the internal parts of the siphon block are thoroughly clean prior to assembly.10. Check the condition of the O-ring seals used in the siphon block and the fuel manifold. If any of the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.11. Install the O-ring on fuel temperature sensor (1) and install it to siphon block (4).12. Install valve (10), spring (9), O-ring (8) and fitting (7) in siphon block (4) as shown.13. Install the O-ring seal on fitting (11). Install the fitting in siphon block (4).14. Install two O-ring seals (6) in siphon block (4).15. Install the six O-ring seals in fuel manifold (5).16. Put fuel manifold (5) and siphon block (4) in position and install the six washers and bolts (3) that hold it.17. Connect hose assembly (2) to siphon block (4).18. Connect the wiring harness going to fuel temperature sensor (1).
