Do the Charge Pump Relief Valve Pressure Test before doing the vibration pump control neutral adjustment.1. Make sure that the parking brake is applied. Make sure the propulsion control lever is in neutral and the travel speed selector is in the zero travel speed position.2. Place wood wedges under both sides of the drum.
Vibration Pump
(1) Control pressure port X3. (2) Control pressure port X4.3. Remove the plugs from ports (1) and (2). Install a 5P2937 Adapter and 3J7354 O-ring in each port. Install a 6V3936 Nipple in each adapter. Connect 6V3081 Hose Assembly to each nipple. This will ensure equal oil pressure on each side of the control piston.
Vibration Pump
(3) Test port, high pressure in reverse direction. (4) Test port, high pressure in forward direction.4. Connect two 50 000 kPa (7500 psi) pressure gauges to pressure taps (3) and (4). See the topic Pressure Test Tools.5. Start and run the engine at 1500 rpm.6. Look at the pressure gauges. Both readings should be the same, and equal to charge pressure.

(5) Adjustment screw. (6) Locknut.7. If it is necessary to adjust the neutral position of the pump control, loosen locknut (6). Use a hex wrench to turn piston rod adjustment screw (5). Turn the screw clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the spool movement requirement. The pressures on the gauges should change. Adjust screw (5) until they are the same.8. Stop the engine. Remove the two 50 000 kPa (7500 psi) gauges and replace them with two 4000 kPa (600 psi) gauges.9. Repeat Steps 5 through 8.10. Tighten locknut (6). Remove the pressure gauges, hoses and connectors from pressure taps (3) and (4). Remove the hose and fittings from ports (1) and (2).Direction Control Valve Neutral Adjustment

Also do the Vibration Pump Control Neutral Adjustment before doing this test. This will ensure that the mechanical neutral position of the swashplate is correct.

One revolution of the screw gives all the adjustment possible.9. Loosen locknut (4)
