The payload monitor is designed to operate with any standard VIMSTM or TPMS system to display the payload weight. The weight is derived from the truck payload system and is displayed in English tons or Metric tons.

The switches are on the back of the payload monitor under a cover plate (A). To access the switches, remove the four bolts that hold the plate to the back of the payload monitor. See the following charts to set the options on the payload monitors.

(1) Switch (1) is a test switch that turns on all segments of the payload monitor to test the lamps. The display should read 888 when the switch is in the ON position.
(2) Switch (2) is a test switch that is used with switch (1). When switch (1) and switch (2) are in the ON position at the same time, the display of the monitor should count upward.
