Frame Lock Pin Installed
(1) Lock pin. (2) Yoke.1. Move the steering tie bar to the position shown and install frame lock pin (1) in the hole provided in articulation yoke (2).
Left Side Of Machine
(3) Shroud.2. Remove shroud (3) from the side of the machine.3. Put supports under the machine to raise the drum and both wheels off of the ground.
Distribution block
(4) Adapter for reverse pressure test. (5) Plug for forward pressure test.4. Remove Plug (5) and install a 814543 Adapter. Install a hose and a 50 000 kPa (7500 psi) gauge on adapter (4) and the adapter that was installed. See the Topic Pressure Test Tools.3. Apply the parking brake and make sure the vibration switch is in the OFF position. Move the propel lever to the neutral position. Put the engine speed control in the minimum speed position.
The drum and tires of the machine may move when the engine is started. Personal injury or death could be the result. Keep all unnecessary personnel away from the machine.
4. Start and run the engine at low idle. Make a note of the reading for each pressure gauge.
Hydraulic Displacement Control
(6) Locknut. (7) Adjustment screw.5. If one of the gauges reads more than 4000 kPa (600 psi), loosen locknut (6) and turn adjusting screw (7) to reduce the pressure until both gauges are the same.6. Stop the engine. Replace the 50 000 kPa (7500 psi) gauges with 4000 kPa (600 psi) gauges.7. Turn adjustment screw (7) until both gauges read the same. Turn the adjustment screw clockwise until an increase in pressure is noted. Make a note of the adjustment screw position. Turn the adjustment screw in the opposite direction until an increase in pressure is noted. Make a note of the adjustment screw position.8. Turn adjustment screw (7) clockwise one half the amount noted in Step 7. This is the center of pump neutral position.9. Hold the adjustment screw and tighten the locknut.10. Stop the engine and remove the test tools.Propel Motor Shift Pressure Test

Do the Charge Pump Pressure Test before doing the shift pressure test.

Front Propel Motor
(1) Shift hose. (2) Propel motor.1. Remove shift hose (1) from the fitting on the propel motor. Place a cap on the fitting.2. Install a 4000 kPa (600 psi) gauge
