Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the rotor drive belt guard.

Fully lower the left-hand side plate. Refer to Operation & Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls" , Left Side Plate Raise/Hold and Lower/Float
Lower the machine until the bottom edge of the left-hand side plate touches the ground. Refer to Operation & Maintenance Manual, "Operator Controls" , All Leg Raise/Lower and Auto Leveling
Remove the left rear side plate hydraulic cylinder.
Remove the left front side plate hydraulic cylinder.

Remove six bolts (1). Repeat process for opposite side of ladder (2). Remove ladder (2).

Remove two bolts (3) and replace with tooling (A) to support the weight of left-hand side plate (4). The weight of left-hand side plate (4) is approximately 230 kg (507 lb)

Remove four bolts (4). With the assistance of another person, remove guide assembly (5). The weight of guide assembly (5) is approximately 40 kg (88 lb)

Remove two bolts (8) and backing plate (7).

Remove left-hand side plate (4).Installation Procedure
Install left-hand side plate (4) in the reverse order of removal.
