HEATED SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL
Disconnect cushion heater wires from main harness by squeezing locking feature on molded connector and pulling free (Image1.5.1).

HEATED SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL
Unplug switch harness from heater harness by lifting hasp on connector, slightly with finger or small flat head screw driver (Image1.6.1).

Move the seat cushion forward and up until the seat cushion comes away from the slide plate (Image1.7.1).

REMOVING BACK CUSHION
Remove headrest from back by pulling it straight up. Turn both plastic guides 90 degrees and carefully remove them from back cushion (Image1.8.1).

Remove 4 screws from back of seat using Phillips screw driver (Image1.9.1). Pull the back cushion away from seat.

INSTALL HEATED BACK CUSHION
Locate back cushion to back pan. Hook bottom tabs into the tab slots at the lower back pan (Image1.10.1). Be careful not to damage heating element wire which will protrude from bottom of metal pan.
Pull cushion up until it is form fitted into the back pan. Tighten 4 self-tapping screws with a Phillips screw driver until snug. Make sure fasteners are drawn all the way flush to the back pan.

Reinstall plastic headrest guides. Position the guide with the tab toward the back pan. The tab goes through a notch in the mounting bracket. Push down on the guide until it is inserted completely as shown in Image 1.11.1.

Turn the guide 90 degrees so that the clip on the inside of the guide is facing the inside of the seat (Image1.12.1).
The guide should turn easily. If it does not, the guide is not fully seated and should be adjusted. Repeat for the other hole.

INSTALLING SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY
Bring seat cushion assembly to the slide plate and join the T feature to the window of the seat pan (Image1.13.1).

Get tilt rod, plastic washers, and pal nuts. Install components through seat pan and slide plate cutouts as shown in Image1.14.1.

Install pal nut by placing a 10 mm (3/8 inch) extension socket over the pal nut and tapping into place with a hammer as shown in Image1.15.1.

Install spring as shown in Image 1.16.1. Install top of spring (small hook) first. Orient spring as shown in Image 1.16.1 with lower hook pointing in. Use needle nose pillars.

INSTALLING HEATED CUSHIONS
Reconnect heater wires from seat into the main harness. Make sure clip locks fully engage.
Secure heater wire harness in three places with 8L-8413 tie straps as shown in Image 1.17.1.
